Diane Edwards positions herself as a research-based artist who works with computation, sculptural installation, DIY electronics and video. Her work takes the form of enquiry, negotiating through intersections of art, technology and science; delving into the often hidden or immaterial qualities of the systems, which construct our modern day situation. She aims to arrive at new unforeseen vantage points, refiguring data and information gathered by various means (relative to a specific project), to create an experiential development in our understanding of our everyday condition.
